The black supply lead wire connects with the junction box or programmable
thermostat. Rooms requiring more than two mats or cables should connect with the
programmable thermostat via. a junction box.
The thermostat sensor cable to be installed inside the flexible black sensor
tube supplied with your system.
All installations require an RCD (residual current device) for safe
operation. RCD to be located at a fused spur connection or at the mains.
ThermMAT Installation Is Easy ThermMAT CUSTOMISATION
Here we show
pictures of the mat being cut in various ways.
- ThermMAT will fit easy in irregular shaped rooms, around bathroom
sanitary ware and kitchen islands.
- Cutting the mesh of ThermMAT (the element MUST NOT be cut) can be
performed with household scissors - ideal for the DIY enthusiast or approved
installation contractor.
ThermMAT has a self adhesive side which is extremely sticky to allow easy
fixing to the sub-floor. The adhesive extends to the cable loops that run
along the side of the mat.
